You don't. Breakups suck and you are just gonna have to be the bad guy here. Nobody likes being rejected, and if she likes you, she's going to be upset when you end things with her, so you just have to man up and deal with it. The best you can do is be respectful, make it clear that you think she's great, but you simply aren't romantically interested. Don't give her false hope, this will just hurt her more, so be direct and do it soon.
I know you're trying to be nice, but as a girl, I kno for a fact that you can't do it without having her feelings crushed. Especially if she really is a nerdy crying sorta girl.





Just do it. No ';I really like it's just that . . .'; that'll send the wrong message of hope or she'll try to talk to you and be your friend.
sorry but your gonna have to make her cry. there is no easy way to hurt someone. but she'll get over it and move on. besides just cause your going out with her on a date doesn't mean you are with her just yet. i mean did you say you liked her cause you didn't want to hurt her or something? or is it just something your friend said? cause if that's the case then its not Official anyway.
Just accept the fact that she is going to cry. Breaking up is not easy, especailly for a sensitive person like her. Just tell her that you just don't see things eye-to-eye like she does and feel it best to go your own ways. This should work, but bring a tissue just in case.



dude, it's really hard to do that without making a girl cry, your best bet is to be honest and make sure you stay her friend. Make sure you tell her about the things you do like about her, but that you already had feelings for another girl when your friend set you up.
just tell her the truth. tell her that your friend asked the wrong person out and that you are very sorry for the misunderstanding, better yet, just write a letter and make sure that you explain that you are very sorry and that its all a misunderstanding...
Seems as if you fell into something you shouldn't have because you were not assertive. You just plane have to take her aside in a quiet place and put it as nicely as possible. that you didnt even know you were going out untill it was too late. She got the wrong idea to early.

Just let her down easily... Tell her you like her %26amp; all but you just aren't ready to be in a realationship %26amp; that you aren't the right guy for her.
