How is the best way to break up with a girl?

I've been seeing her for a little over six months and we have grown apart in my mind. She is still trying to keep it going which makes me feel bad, but I feel it needs to be done. It's my birthday over the course of the next week, and she has already gotten me a gift. Which makes me feel even worse. I'm going to reject the gift (FYI).How is the best way to break up with a girl?
ouch!!!there is no such thing as ';best way to end';, it is always hard especially you risk/hurt someone else' feelings.i think what you really need to do is to talk to her. tell her how you feel and try to come to a consensus so that if ever you break up w/ her, you wont end up regretting what you have done.
